It's always great when an album instantly becomes the soundtrack for a short memory film. Long ago, when driving meant sitting in the backseat of my Mom's car. We took a trip to Washington from California. The memory that always strikes me first was driving the coast of Oregon listening to Semisonic's 'Feeling Strangely Fine' and Five For Fighting's 'American Town'. I told myself from then on, Oregon would be my home at some point. Now, thanks to Ravishers, I lower my head in regret that I have yet to do so. Tonight, I must miss out on their album release show. On the lighter side, I was lucky enough to get a early copy. Now, I suppose the norm would be to tell you how it sounds like Marching Band sleeping around with Darwin Deez, while Matt Hires is at work. Or I can make even less sense and say its charisma shines a light on anyone with a broken heart, but I won't. I will just say I think it's really good and you may wanna check it out :) If I'm not mistaken, available May 10th.
Oh wait, almost forgot. How about an extra free track while we wait? Yeah, they thought we might like that. Let me get it.
