A Great Big Pile Of Leaves: Bring Back Indie

If you follow GMO, you most likely know of A Great Big Pile Of Leaves by now. As my most anticipated album of the year, I've been going on and on for over a year about it. I've been lucky enough to get an early listen, and had the greatest laundry day ever. The album is extremely upbeat, danceable, and the funnest sing-a-long album the year has seen yet. Weiland has really mastered his vocals on this release, now there is no limit to where this band will be in a year from now (Coachella, you better be reading this!). If you're listening to Dear and Headlights, The National, or Hockey right now, turn it off and head over to AGBPL's myspace right now and prepare to fall in love . Keeping with the trend of the last two EPs, they will release a free version download of "Have You Seen My Prefrontal Cortex?" on the 22nd of this month. I recommend taking advantage of the re-order of the physical copy for only $5 right now, and get the full version with 2 bonus songs (Moving In Slow is one you won't to be without). I'm going to go order that snazzy blue shirt they have for sale, peace.

Top tracks: We Don't Need Our Heads, Great Fun, A Few Screws Loose, Vampires In Love
.
