Recently I've been lucky enough to preview Jordan Galland new album Search Party, releasing April 20. I certainly enjoyed his debut album Airbrush (2008), but Search Party is in a new class. The Title song will have you dancing around the room with puckered lips, acting as if your playing a trumpet (or maybe I'm just a little weird). The nice thing about this release is the generation's it covers, teens will be having their Cd's stolen by their parents and vice-versa. A nice mix of almost all variations of pop, jazz, and rock. Search Party will certainly be in any worthy playlist's long side new and upcoming release's such as Courteeners, Frightened Rabbit, and Broadcast 2000.Top Song pick: Can't Say Why
